Our monthly lunches are in both Danby Village Hall and in Sleights. They are a traditional home cooked meals served to over 60’s from the local areas. Our displays of memorabilia and old photographs stimulate conversation and uncover some fantastic stories whilst our guests remember the ‘good old days’!
Memory Lane Music
Our music sessions are hosted by the brilliant Ruth and Neil from Musical Memories. Our once a month sessions in Danby Village Hall offer friendly sing-along’s of the best known songs from across the 20th century and are a great opportunity to meet local people. Everyone is provided with a song book in a large print for easy reading and the singing is accompanied by live piano and guitar! You definitely do not have to be able to sing to enjoy the sessions!
The Good Old Days
This particular session can be transported to any location! We can visit your care home, library, doctors surgery – you name it – with our box of memorabilia to stimulate conversation and allow people to reminisce about their childhood and the ‘good old days’!
