How can we help?

Our Rural Support Services consist of three main areas:

  • Keeping In Touch
  • Activities
  • Support and Information

Keeping In Touch

We try to keep in touch with as many of our participants as possible – usually once a month but for some it is weekly, depending on need. Participants are welcome to call us if they need information or help.

Staff and volunteers deliver our own In Touch magazine and whenever possible do a ‘door – knock’ just to check in.

We carry out home visits to people who need our help, particularly if they are unable to leave their home or have no transport.

Activities

We organise a wide range of regular weekly activities. See our Activities Page.

From ‘FAB Club’ – weight management support group to ‘Men without Sheds’ and ‘Cuppa and Catch up’ to lunches and outings.

Support and Information
Over the last 9 years Revival has developed many useful contacts and can provide information or refer people to many different organisations with the aim of helping you to continue living safely and happily in your own home for as long as you wish. This includes:

  • Blue Badges
  • Welfare Benefits eg. Attendance Allowance
  • Care Needs Assessment
  • Rails and aids for safety around the home
  • Fire Safety Visits
  • Help with housing issues
  • Help to organise shopping and prescription delivery
  • Help to use mobile phones, computers, tablets etc
  • Falls alarms
  • Liaise with other statutory agencies on your behalf ( with consent) to get you the help you need.

If we don’t know the answer we will do our best to find out !

We will provide home visits whenever possible to provide information and support you to remain independent.
